Hi

Just to say hello everyone
I'm T. Twenty six year old guy living in Auckland New Zealand. I started Ballroom and New Vogue classes a few months back.
As far as Ballroom goes I'm quite enjoying the Waltz. All the rise-and-fall and the swaying. Brilliant. Reminds me of my favourite sport in a way (
Cricket
), which probably sounds rather weird.
With New Vogue I've so far only learned the steps for a few of the dances. I should probably try copying some of the arm stylings from youtube videos though. It's the arm stylings that make NV dances look good.
Anyways, that's me. Good to be here.
Cheers,
T.

one more post and you can set your personal preferences NZ guy
We have a topic that shows you how to put a flag in a google map - it would be nice to add another part of australasia. BTW how did you find us? Was it by personal recommendation or some happy accident

Recommendation on another forum. I was told there are Australians here who might be able to help with my New Vogue questions.

yes Welcome. and glad you have found enjoyment in NV, it is unique style and very enjoyable to do. You're right to say that arm styling is one major aspect.

[Why are the aussies people and everyone else is a weather balloon?]
I think thats because some of the aussies did not post a marker because they are in the same place...

Heh, sorry I'm responsible for the personification of the antipodean markers.
You can be anything you want. There are default icons - a pin, a volcano, a passport control officer, a martini glass... or you could use a picture of your own.
Being a person kinda makes sense - 4 women and 2 men in Oz and 1 nz_guy across the ditch.
