New Vogue Lesson without Partner

Hi,
I am going to post this here as not much reply on the 'other forum'.
Hopefully more Aussies resides here !
I am thinking about taking some NV lessons with a very experienced teacher.
However he is incapacitated (on the legs) at the moment due to accident so it is most likely that he won't be able to dance with me.
He is however a very experienced coach and I would like to take a few lesson from him.
At the moment I am at a pretty good level so I will not need to learn steps, I just need to refine my styling.
Is it possible for me to benefit from this teacher while having to dance by myself throughout the lesson ?
Should I wait until he recovers (which maybe 6-12 months) before I start to take lesson from him ?
I know he is still coaching couples very successfully but I havent seen him coach singles atm. Previously before the accident yes but not now.
He has agreed to take me on though.
Please help me with suggestions !

sorry I missed this and I am on here everyday.
A year is a long time to wait, it depends when you want to dance. Perhaps you should discuss that you want to keep the momentum going and perhaps he can suggest someone to train with while he is incapacitated.
