yes SW's stance has changed SW does it a lot more now and charges for his photos, and that is fair enough when you spend your whole day and get there at your cost.

We are not able to take many photos of our-self at comps so rely on the photographers, some are flattering and some are not. I dont know if they are a good judge of how your dancing is overall. We get very good comments form people bout the improvement in our dancing, but when I see video I see all the mistakes and dont like it at all.

The first time you look at any video of yourself (I find this the same for dance or playing music) all you hear is the errors because that's what you are tuned into.  However, if you let it sit for a while - say a couple of weeks - you will find that you start seeing the good bits - the together dancing and your happiness and musicality.  Just let it ride for a while - promise Smiley

Photos are interesting: they are just one moment in the dance and yet I have found that they accurately reflect your dancing.  If you look strained that moment the odds are that you are strained all the way through.  Seems like a magical property...

yes I agree about the photos and I will et you know about the video....but most of the photos I can live with but it does give us an opportunity to  see some lines that need to improve. but in the end it is not like you are still and you pose it is in movement.
