My DP had a huge problem during the competition.

Her makeup somehow irritated her eyes and she ended up squinting, then crying, then blind while we were dancing. We had to pull out of our second category because she couldn't see to compete.

Sooo...any suggestions as to make up or how to keep sweat from irritating eyes, ladies?

Avoid powder makup.  Its probably why actors use makeup sticks in the first place. 
I use some powder but the one I use on my eye lid seems to have some sort of binder in it.

I always use a liquid foundation followed by a powdered coating. but I used one of those new mineral powers and it reacted to my perspiration and made my skin feel it is was prickling. So I have gone back to normal face powder.My perspiration seems under control, but I can only fan myself or pat lightly so not to smudge
