The perfect follower (PF) .... what is she like?

If she looks bored in salsa I pitch her into a tumbling sumersault. That usually focusses her attention. haha

That being said, as someone who dances salsa at least 6 nights  a week (one off for good behavior), I like a follower in salsa who wears no jewelry. No watch, rings, bangles or other obstacles that can slash my arms and neck.

i would love to wear more jewelry when i dance but the few times i've done it, i've experienced the mishaps that can occur. so... i go pretty nekkid of garnishment, now.

and... do you really dance salsa 6 nights a week??? am remembering fondly back to the days i hit the floor so often...

Where time stands still.  I've been there.  My coach says that's where you want to be.  You're right, "let your body go totally loose and totally active at the same time...".  This is one of those things that have to be experienced in order to believe that what sounds like opposites can actually occupy the same time and space.
