Elise, how much (number of glasses) do you drink per day?

Is it still a popular belief that the moderate red wine every day does good for your body? Or has it been proven a myth? I think I've seen the debate a couple of years ago.

women 2 (standard drinks)
Men 3-4 (standard drinks )

the problem is that
wine/beer is calorie full.

It is better not to drink during the week if that is not possible try one day on and one day off... till you get out of the habit.

I only drink now on a week-end...as when I go out socially I don't want to think I am a party pooper.

It is really not good regardless of what you drink bad for your body. and vodka... is bad. I heard a story this week that they are increasing the cost of vodka in Russia for $1.00 for 1/2 litre to $3.00 because they are loosing 900,000 people a year for alcohol related diseases....

I come from a city that has  1.5 million people, would not be many of us left  Undecided

Bad enough for you but imagine if you ad 800.000 - you would owe 1000,000 people!

that is positive.... Grin, sometimes we don't realise how it can effect us, especially when you think you feel ok and not intoxicated...some people feel it more than others.
