We've heard nothing about plans for the new year, both NYE and beyond...
Whats on the horizon folks?

Well, our studio isn't having a dance, and mum doesn't really want to go to any others, because there would be no-one for her to socialise with. So I'm hopefully spending it with BF. His family go up into the hills and spend time with friends, and he goes along. It does involve sleeping there over night though, so it depends on whether mum will let me.
I hope she does...I wanna stay up all night paying out infomercials and snuggling the warmness.

Sitting in front of a fire and grill some food is what the plan is as of now.

Quiet plans so far. Onhospitable weather is forecast, so unlikely I'll venture out to a dance venue.

well here it was hot until around 6.00 then a cool change came in so by midnight it was 20 which was pleasant...but to have 42 - 20 in one day, no wonder people can get sick.

We did the whole German traditional New Year, as BF's mum's friends are German. We ate Berlinas for the new year, drank champagne (only a little bit for me) (and they drank a LOT more than champagne..), watched the fireworks, and did lead pouring, which is awesome. Apparently my New Year is going to be busy.
After a while, BF and I retreated to the bar and just talked. Then eventually migrated into the loungeroom. We watched a really dodgy 80s movie until about 2.30am, when BF kicked me out of the couch because he wanted to sleep. I went and slept with the girls in the massive bed, and generally didn't sleep very well.
This morning I had a lovely greasy bacon and eggs breakfast, which has made me feel completely and utterly crap.
Welcome in, 2010
