Remembrance of things Past.. ( Al la recherche de temps perdu)

You are invited, in brevity or at length to recount memories from your past.
Marks will be awarded for spelling, literacy, and good story telling, plus attention to detail.
At a Junior School Christmas concert, as I did not play an instrument I was armed, alongside a selection of other
no-hopers, with a pair of cymbals. The school orchestra played Bizet's L'Arlesienne and i had three cymbal strikes to play through the piece. Us no-hopers weren't on the stage, we were on the floor in the wings. Parents were sitting down in the hall glowing at their offspring's valiant efforts when Kaboom! my first cymbal strike arrived and I'm told the front row of parents visibly jumped in their seats!

That was funny. Not sure what I can recount from my past. It was pretty uneventful....I was not the prettiest girl in the class, with protruding teeth I was generally the tallest and skinniest and if we ever did a concert or a play I would have to be the Boy, or one performance I was one of the witches from Macbeth.
