Actually, not at all.

I've thought about implants in the past.  If I'm skinny, I have no boobs...hence the thoughts about implants.  Now that I've gained weight...I've got the boobs, but also (quite unfortunately) have the belly and ass to go with them.  Hmph.  But implants totally make sense if you're thin and want cleavage.

As for looking great in evening gowns...yeah, sorta.  If you can manage skinny + boobs that's great, but for fashions these days it seems that just skinny is even better.  And then there's the dark side of showing a bit (or more than a bit) of great cleavage in an evening gown...derogatory comments, and I'm not talking about the stereotypical comments from guys looking (which are downright polite and complimentary by comparison).

Implants in general I get--like Peaches pointed out, for the truly flat-chested among us, that's one thing.  But the girls that already have a B-C cup and want implants...yeah, that's retarded.

I mean women with a bit of cleavage do look great in low cut gowns...

Only if they stay perky all on their own in said low-cut gown...which real ones definitely do NOT do.

I used to be able to buy them at the local pharmacies (why a drug store you ask? Who knows, maybe perky boobs are considered good medicine for what ails ya)

I am going to check out the Victoria Secret site as per suggested.

I tried the NuBra silicone thingies and they just slide right off as soon as you start to sweat, plus they don't support as well as the sticky paper ones. My friend tried them once; they fell right out the bottom of her dress during a rather active jive. She just calmly picked it up, saying "Oh, that would be mine" and kept on dancing. Kudos!

I wouldn't go the implant route, but I for sure would do a hike 'em up procedure in a heart beat if it wasn't for the down time and associated scars.

The thing about bras and bigger boobs is that most of the time they get less sexy. I find bigger boobs are heavier and it hurst when they get jiggled up and down especially when they are not well supported.

My mother's was so big they each weighed about 4kg (at an estimation) it was one of things that were a demise in her recovery, they did not know where to put them after her surgery and it was putting way to much pressure on her chest.

Well, I ordered the adhesive bra from Victoria Secret; it's silicone, but had more substance to it, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Mistake. It doesn't stick nor support very well, and it gaps out at the side of the cups. Waste of 50 ish bucks.

yes I would be annoyed also....have you been into a bra shop and see what the experts suggest? I used to always go for a fitting to see what size bra I should have when I was younger....perhaps they may be able to advise or a dressmaker...

Q, I have gone for fittings for my everyday bras, and it was worthwhile indeed.

The "sticky tape" ones that I love to use for dancing were perfect for that particular use, but my supply has dried up and now I'm struggling to find a replacement product. I've checked out all the specialty shops, etc. with no luck.

Taks it back and complain - sure they don't take bras back but this sounds not a bad fit but a fraud.  At the least they maygive you an exchange...

I was thinking of trying out the 'sticky tape' bras as well. I know some of the teachers at my old studio used them and they worked quite well.
Does anyone know where to get them in Australia?

try the bra shop...but I think their success is determined on the size you are...the bigger you are the heavier your ##### are so that is not going help them to work.
