J's about 6 foot tall, wears a forty-eight (US) or somesuch in his jacket size, and is a 36-33 in pants. I know tailsuits should be made-to-measure, but we frankly can't spend a thousand for that.

Are there any cheaper options out there? Four hundred and change is the very very cheapest ( quote we found, and we were frankly hoping to beat that. He needs basically just the tails, for one event.
