I hope you were able to get things resolves, btm. Smiley

Working seven days a week is for the birds.  Just sayin.

going to get some legal advice....

and he hasn't renewed his architect's regisrtation; so the company is relying on my qualifications to operate legally. I don't suppose he has realised that. ( He constantly refers to me as a technician). I checked with the registration board to see if his PI insurance still covers me against being sued. They seemed to think it was okay, but that as I was the architect in the firm, I should be sure of all architectural decisions! I can't see that happening.. Tongue

Seems to me that he has to be willing to make you a partner - if that's what you want.  But be VERY cautious as partners are PERSONALLY liable for total debt of a company.

no the comapny is verging on insolvency.. I need another job/vocation

I was trying to avoid saying that, as it's none of my business,  but yes.  It seems to me that it's time to start looking, even if only casually.

I'm sorry.  That really stinks.  Sad

I realize that - but maybe you could use it as a base for your own operation?  It can be easier to build with some existing foundations (though admittedly, sometimes its easier to start from scratch)

Of course, entrepreneurship isn't for everyone.  It really depends on what you want. *sigh*  I'm sorry you're through this, btm. Sad

Can't whine twice in one day, soooo...

Moan,  Unexpected summer thunder storm blew in while my car windows were open and drenched everything.

Working seven days a week is for the birds.  I have to quit one of my jobs.  I just feel terrible doing so after only a few weeks.  How much longer can I do this? *sigh*

Maybe you can offer to work on-call in the future to lighten the blow...

That's a great idea.  I'll broach the subject tomorrow.  I really don't want a three or four week job on my resume, even if it is a hobby jobby.
